Mandate Secretariat Develops SDG Experience Booth at UN Global Compact’s Leaders Summit
During the UN Global Compact’s Leaders Summit held on September 21st coinciding with the UN General Assembly, several water-focused events were held, including a session to discuss the contours of a new water-focused Action Platform to be launched in January 2018. In addition, the Mandate developed a SDG experience booth on water highlighting growing water challenges, the risks they pose to companies, and the potential actions that companies can take. It included a special virtual reality display from WaterAid showcasing WaterAid’s, documentary, Aftershock.
