About the event
In this webinar, we will address how businesses can identify, measure, and address their impacts and dependencies on water by drawing on insights and resources from the CEO Water Mandate and the UN Global Compact (UNGC) Forward Faster initiative. We will share practical strategies of leading practice and how companies are working together through collective action to address water security and improve water resilience.
In the face of climate change, water security emerges as a critical concern, fundamentally altering the way we look at water systems, and how we govern and manage these systems effectively. Businesses of all types rely on water, using it as a critical resource in their production processes and throughout their supply chains. Despite substantial investments in water solutions, current progress remains insufficient, with water challenges posing significant risks to business continuity, ecosystems, and affected communities. As a result, the private sector has a significant role to play in improving water resilience, and achieving net positive water impact in the most water-stressed basins, through corporate water stewardship and collective action.
We invite Swiss and Liechtenstein companies to join these global efforts in building water resilience. Participants will be equipped with knowledge and tools to set goals and take action on the road to net-positive water impact.
