InterContinental Hotels Group Commits to the CEO Water Mandate

The CEO Water Mandate Secretariat welcomes InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) as its latest endorsing company. Via its endorsement of the Mandate in February 2020, IHG joins a diverse, global community of over 160 companies that have made a commitment to advancing water stewardship.

Founded in 2003, with origins back to 1777, IHG is a multinational hospitality company with a diverse portfolio of brands. Based out of the United Kingdom, IHG operates hotels in three different ways – as a franchisor, a manager, and on an owned and leased basis. The company has approximately 400,000 employees across 100 countries, with 5,795 hotels globally and 864,699 rooms. The company’s revenue totaled $4.337 billion in 2018.
