The NBS Benefits Explorer, part of the Water Action Hub (a suite of digital tools for corporate water stewardship), is designed to serve as a key starting point for organizations looking to invest in hashtagNatureBasedSolutions (NBS).
The tool helps build the business case for NBS projects by enabling users to:
– Identify the full range of benefits of NBS activities across water quantity, water quality, carbon, biodiversity and socio-economic themes.
– Understand when and where NBS benefits will accrue.
– Identify indicators and calculation methods used to estimate or quantify benefits.
– Estimate the potential return on investments from NBS projects in different habitats.
