The Water Resilience Coalition (WRC) is working to support companies to scale innovative solutions to the water crisis and ensure water resilience around the world through collective action. Our Ripples of Water Resilience series shares these global stories of collaboration between community members, local leaders, government and leading businesses.
WRC’s first dispatch comes from the PCJ river basin in Brazil where millions of people experienced a life-threatening drought in 2014. Since then, local farmers, government, NGOs, and corporate partners have banded together to better preserve water and build resilience to the worst effects of the water crisis.
