The CEO Water Mandate Secretariat welcomes Suntory Group as its latest endorsing company! Via its endorsement of the CEO Water Mandate in February 2018, Suntory joins a diverse, global community of over 130 companies that have made a commitment to advancing water stewardship.
Founded in 1899, Suntory Group offers a diverse portfolio of beverage products including soft drinks, spirits, beer, wine, dietary supplements, and bottled water. Over 300 companies fall under the control of the Suntory Group who, in total, employ approximately 38,000 people throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
Suntory’s mission is to create harmony with people and nature by “growing for good”. Specifically, Suntory advertises that they strive, “to preserve the environment that nurtures and protects precious water vital to the earth while continuing to challenge ourselves for the creation of new value as a company that enriches society”.
