The CEO Water Mandate Secretariat welcomes Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) as its latest endorsing company. Via its endorsement of the Mandate in August 2020, APSEZ joins a diverse, global community of over 170 companies that have made a commitment to advancing water stewardship.
Founded in 1998, APSEZ is a commercial ports operator in India accounting for nearly one-fourth of cargo movement in the country. The company’s vision is to be a world class business leader that enriches lives and contributes to nations in building infrastructure through sustainable value creation. The company has a presence across 10 domestic ports in the six maritime states of Gujarat, Goa, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Odisha. APSEZ employs over 1,900 people and operates over 5,400 vessels. The company reported revenue of Rs 11,873 crore in 2020.
