Prerequisites for Step 1.1 include collecting the information gathered as part of AWS Step 1, specifically:<\/p>\n

  • Criterion 1.1. Gather information to define the site\u2019s physical scope for water stewardship purposes, including its operational boundaries, the water sources from which the site draws, the locations to which the site returns its discharges, and the catchment(s) that the site affect(s) and upon which it is reliant.<\/li>\n
  • Criterion 1.5. Gather water-related data for the catchment, including water governance, water balance, water quality, important water- related areas, infrastructure, and water access, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); and<\/li>\n
  • Criterion 1.6.
