Preventing Shocks and Stresses from Becoming Crises: The Water Resilience Assessment Framework – COP26
As part of the WaterPavillion and hosted on YouTube Live, the session will introduce the climate change community to a tool that can be used to assess and support building water resilience. The “Water Resilience Assessment Framework” creates a connection between dynamic hydrologic, economic, and social systems using established water accounting metrics and leading resilience science relating to climate change impacts, and builds consensus on a standard framework that can be used to measure stakeholders’ respective resilience and their contribution to the basin resilience to achieve water security and sustainable development goals.
